• ESF project created an excellent reputation for the centre in terms of employment support.

 

• At Foleshill Women’s Training ESF provide free Employment support for women long term unemployed .We support them by confidence building, helping with job searches, form filling .CV writing & interview techniques. Job clubs are running every Wednesday between 10.00 am -12.00 pm.

 

• ESF also offer free training opportunities to achieve employment. We offer accredited course on computer skills, Confidence skills. We also have links with other training providers to meet the clients’ needs.

 

• Extensive outreach work in the city, including weekly job clubs at Cheylesmore & Central Library, and increased work by Iman on the Jobs Bus, has seen our numbers increase. Ian, from the jobs bus has requested that Iman be present more often, due to the increased footfall. The bus goes to Longford and Foleshill.

 

• Due to our clients being predominantly BME women, they need extensive, dedicated support with interventions, and due to cultural and language barriers, they need greater time & support in the project. We are dedicated to support clients and meet their needs.

 

• Clients are very satisfied with our service; one lady was very pleased with the help she received to purchase her interview clothes. Another client is also pleased with the free crèche facility in the centre and also the fact that she was able to reclaim her travel expenses. A third client mentioned that we were able to exceed her expectations when we helped her to overcome her IT barrier; we also helped her to receive her first certificate ever through our training.
