Language Support Volunteers
Can you speak any of the following languages?
Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Kurdish, Mirpuri, Farsi, Swahili, French, Arabic, Polish or any other European or South Asian language.
General Volunteers
You could be helping out with varied work and this may be using the telephone, photocopying, wordprocessing or using other computer packages to produce documents needed by FWT staff and users of the centre. These are not the only tasks you will perform because the tasks are varied. In return, we offer training in NVQ courses suitable to your needs.
Project Specific Volunteers
If there is any particular project that you would feel you want to volunteer on we are happy to look into this with you.
Outreach Work
Do you like talking to people, like helping people, like visiting local places, like meeting people... then why not volunteer to do outreach work. You will accompany a member of staff on Open Days, outreach sessions.
