![]() VolunteersLanguage Support VolunteersCan you speak any of the following languages? Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Kurdish, Mirpuri, Farsi, Swahili, French, Arabic, Polish or any other European or South Asian language. In order to provide a culturally and linguistically sensitive service to all our service users, we are seeking language support volunteers. You must be fluent in any of these languages and we also welcome anyone who is DPSI qualified.
General VolunteersYou could be helping out with varied work and this may be using the telephone, photocopying, wordprocessing or using other computer packages to produce documents needed by FWT staff and users of the centre. These are not the only tasks you will perform because the tasks are varied. In return, we offer training in NVQ courses suitable to your needs.
Outreach WorkDo you like talking to people, like helping people, like visiting local places, like meeting people... then why not volunteer to do outreach work. You will accompany a member of staff on Open Days, outreach sessions.
